Friday a week ago, Barbara was going out of town, and needed a book; the
next day, Lock and I had a drive, and he was out of books... I handed
her The Incomplete Enchanter, and him, finally, Skylark of Space (I'd
give it to her last year for a trip....)

And, of course, they're reading and enjoying.... Next, he says, thinking
evilly....
