Ok, I guess health care triage where they tell those over a certain age (56 in one report) who needs dialysis that they can't have dialysis because there aren't enough machines and they are being reserved for those with more life ahead of them is ok with you? (That was the UK in case you were wondering). There are advantages and disadvantages to all health care systems. None are perfect. If you want a system run by the government, with all that that implies, you can get it by moving north a few hundred miles, or east a few thousand. You don't have to push to have one here too. I agree with Keith...we have to find a way to get needed health care at a cost we can afford. Do that and there's no need to spread the costs with insurance or with government taxation. Personally, I think nanotechnology is the answer, but we need to get it past the chipping flint stage it is at now and up to the CNC-machining state needed to replace current health care with a simple "infection" by smart nano-bots.
