Some phones are better than others. The iPhone and some of the Android
phones can match an average digital camera in many cases. After that it
depends on the photographer.

Depends on the quality settings and how much memory the device has. A
good resolution 90-minute video in mpeg format would be about 20
gigabytes...which is well within the limits a 64 gig iPhone 4S can store.

The same can be said for pocket watches...and the same solution exists.
There are arm-bands for holding cellphones...most seem to be aimed at
joggers. I can also envision an app that lets you shake the phone, or
tap the screen (possibly while it's in your pocket), or otherwise
indicate that you want to know the time, and the phone speaks the time
for you. That would be useful for blind people too...hmmm....be tricky
to have it only speak the time when you want it, not when you are just
walking or standing up or whatever. A more complex shake required?
"Are you doing the hula?" "No, just checking the time."
