Total crap. There is no moral equivalency. The tea party Repubs, led
by Ted Cruz, are out to destroy the United States. They campaigned in
2010 on platforms of shutting down the government (which they hate
almost as much as they do a black president) and are pleased that
they've done it.
"Obamacare" is law, passed by both houses of congress, signed by the
president, and upheld by the Supreme Court. And it is proving to be
workable and increasingly popular as people get past the Republican lies
about it (note the traffic to the just-opened health exchanges). The
Republicans are scared silly that it will work and their lies
("trainwreck") are exposed, and are hysterically trying to kill it, even
if it means bringing down the country.
There is no possible compromise. The "clean bill" accepts sequester
spending cuts and that's a major compromise from the Dems. The Repubs
want *more*. And they offer no compromises at all.
Ask yourself why the Repubs want to kill affordable health care. And
check out who is actually funding the tea party traitors -- the richest
men in the country, people like the Koch brothers. These people mean us
all ill.
