Maryland State Police are completely aware of this plan.  They told me
that similar attempts in the past two years amounted to nothing, but
they'll be out in force just in case.  Virginia likewise.

But thanks for posting this, it was the first I'd heard of it.

I'm not sure what's more dangerous in the hands of a nut:  a rifle or a
semi truck.
