The Polaris and Polar Chill Facebook page reports:

"We understand that there has been some speculation that the individual who caused this damage was somehow affiliated with the event. All registrants names have been reviewed and the person identified by the press as the alleged culprit is NOT a member of our event."

Polar Chill is a relaxacon held by the same group who hold their main convention, Polaris.
