I am reposting this from facebook for those who don't
follow it.   Candy Madigan has set a time and place for
John Madigan's memorial service.
John Madigan died a couple of weeks ago after a long fight
with cancer.  He and Candy were long time hosts of the
Maryland WSFA meeting.

Candy Madigan
Ok, we have a date (8 Feb), we have a time (4-8pm) and we
have a venue (Paint Branch Unitarian Universalist 3215
Powder Mill Road Adelphi MD).

We are not having "services", we are having a memorial.
Kindra has bought some toys John would love and we'll be
bringing bubbles (to only be used outside).

It'll be pot luck and France Andrews Zeve will be
coordinating. If you are planning to bring something,
contact her and bring an ingredient list so people with
allergies won't get poisoned.

Kiva will play a couple of songs. The idea is to laugh and
remember John Madigan.

She says to use "Memorial" as the header for any email
sent to her on the subject.
She will have a donation box at the memorial service to
collect from noncooks who wish to contribute to the
potluck.
Drinks, from noncooks,  will be welcome but France will
check to see if the church has a non alcohol policy.
