It seems to me that Red Eagle blew it totally.
Their intent was to claim the rights, but according
to the article, they had sold the rights to Universal
until Wednesday Feb 11, 2015.
I fail to see how making an unauthorized pilot
that Universal knew nothing about would gain
anything except a lawsuit from Universal.
Red Eagle didn't have the rights at all, and
Universal still has them, if only until Wednesday.
