Ok, folks,

    I'm getting dunned by companies, and thought I'd ask: we're being
offered alternatives to Pepco (aka greedy scum). Have any of you taken
such a company up on this? If so:
    a) is it actually cheaper (I mean, they have to pay to use Pepco's lines.)
    b) How's the service?
    c) If there's a problem, who do you call, Pepco, the provider, do you
          have to put up with them pointing fingers at each other as to
          whose problem it is?
