Got there before 5:00 and the only real wait was for a station that had a chair so I
wouldn't have to stand up. People

I was talking with the Election Judge and he said that every polling place had a long
line when it opened at 6:00 AM. Back-of-envelope calculation from where the line was at
my polling place it was at least 200 people. The next district over the line went around
the block.

The true, barely noticed, heroes are the elections workers. The got there before 6:00 AM
and since the polls here closed at 8:00 PM weren't going to get out of there until about
10:00. Despite that every single one of them was, to use a phrase, bright eyed and bushy
tailed. Cheerful, friendly, gave good, easy to follow directions, even still had a sense
of humor - and the sense to only display it when I did.

The entrance being used was around the side and some people, I think janitors, simply
went out into the parking lot to direct traffic, not just cars but people like me who'd
started at the main entrance and were clearly confused. I tried to thank each and every
one of them.
