Ed died in his sleep on the 10th.  Locus obituary here:

He was Disclave GoH in 1985 and in 1995 was Toastmaster for the 1995
WFC in Baltimore.

In a minor historical note his ancestor, Edward Winslow, came to North
America in 1620 on the Mayflower.
