Balticon 51 One Day Memberships Announced:

    The one day balticon memberships have been posted at the Balticon
51 website at http://balticon.org/wp51/registration-2/
One days can only be bought at the convention. You can still register
online for the entire weekend at https://reg.balticon.org/onlineReg/
and if you don't remember/know if you have already registered you can
check it at https://reg.balticon.org/onlineReg/checkReg.php
  Balticon 51 will be held May 26-29, 2017 and further details can be
found at www.balticon.org

Balticon 51 Hotel Registration Info:

We are at 88.6% of the contracted sleeping room block. The cut-off for
reserving a room per the contract is May 5, 2017. We now have a deal
with the hotel that they will allow our members to continue to reserve
after the May 5th cutoff as long as the hotel sees "steady activity in
filling the block" so if you want sleeping rooms after May 5th try our
link at http://balticon.org/wp51/balticon-hotel-information/ but don't
delay too much because after the cut off we are basically on borrowed
time till we fill available rooms or the hotel management pulls the
plug.

Balticon 51 Blood Drive on Monday:

Due to the Red Cross and their schedule, the Blood Drive will be
collecting blood on Monday, not Sunday.

Teaching with SF Workshop at Balticon 51:

The workshop will be held on Monday. Last year one participant said it
was the best one ever. For details check with the SF Teacher=E2=80=99s
Workshop manager (local public school teacher) Art Boorman (running
this for the second year) by sending email to
