Former WSFA member Meridel Newton's _The Future Second by Second_ was
orally reviewed (not by me) at last night's PRSFS meeting.  I was the
only one present who recognized the name.  I had to do a web search to
make sure the author was the same person as Judy and Barry's daughter
who grew up in WSFA.  She is.  Her birth announcement can be found in
one of the many back issues of the WSFA Journal that I put online.

PRSFS is a local SF club that spun off from WSFA a decade before
Meridel was born.  The hybrid (both Zoom and in person) meetings
consist mostly of members taking turns orally reviewing books.

Congratulations to Meridel.  Someone please pass this message on
to her.  Thanks.
