Nope. Attachments are Right Out.

Not only are they immense, but to those of us with email readers that
simply display whatever is in the message rather than interpreting it,
they display as thousands and thousands of lines of rubbish such as:

PEhUTUw+DQo8SEVBRD4NCjxUSVRMRT5odG1sX2VtYWlsX2VzaGlydHM8L1RJVExFPg0KPE1F
VEEgSFRUUC1FUVVJVj0iQ29udGVudC1UeXBlIiBDT05URU5UPSJ0ZXh0L2h0bWw7IGNoYXJz

IEltYWdlUmVhZHkgU2xpY2VzIChodG1sX2VtYWlsX2VzaGlydHMucHNkKSAtLT4NCjxUQUJM

More seriously, for those who have email readers which DO interpret
attachments, attachments can carry viruses which can trash one's
computer and cause it to trash other people's computers via email.

This list cannot be used to propagate viruses.

Anyone who wants to show a cartoon or photograph can bring it to a
meeting, give it to Sam for printing in the WSFA Journal, or place
it on their personal web page and email this list the URL for it.

I always welcome replies to my e-mail, postings, and web pages, but
unsolicited bulk e-mail (spam) is not acceptable. Please do not send me
HTML, "rich text," or attachments, as all such email is discarded unread.
