Sorry.  I figured that they'd be more welcome than chips or soft
drinks which are much harder to get out of rugs.

Did you happen to read Science News last week?  There was an article
about the discovery of 780,000 year old pistachio shells, and of the
rocks used to break them.  Since apparently no older shells have
ever been found, we can conclude that if you just ignore the shells,
they'll probably go away in well under a million years.

Don't blame the meds, blame the language.  Whoever invented it must
have been on drugs or something.

That's some quantity of shells with an age of 780,000 years, not a
quantity of 780,000 shells with an age of one year each.  See what
happens when you write in English?  Maybe we should all switch to
Lojban (see http://nuzban.wiw.org/wiki/).
