There was an article about the discovery of 780,000 year old pistachio shells, and of the rocks used to break them. Since apparently no older shells have ever been found, we can conclude that if you just ignore the shells, they'll probably go away in well under a million years. > --or is that too many tiny bits of trash? That's some quantity of shells with an age of 780,000 years, not a quantity of 780,000 shells with an age of one year each. See what happens when you write in English?
