At least I can spell it. :-)

That was a test.  First I suggested not biting the shiny sharp things
no matter how appetizing the attached morsels look.  Then I dangled
one to demonstrate.  I'm pleased that I've gotten so few bites.

There's actually a simple solution to the Israel/Palestine situation.
Open a gateway to an identical parallel world, and have all the
Israelis go to one world, and all the Palestinians go to the other.

Alternatively, use cryonics.  During even numbered years Israelis
would be awake, and Palestinians would be frozen.  During odd numbered
years, the other way around.  Like a time share resort.

An alien invasion is always a good way to get people to unite.
Isn't one long overdue?  Where are they?  Somebody ask Fermi.

But then, who says the "aliens" have to be extraterrestrial?  Lets
get the SCA, Markland, and the Catholic Church together and hold a
Crusade!  It would be grand, with banners flying, and knights in
shining armor, and sword play.  Liberate the Holy Land by drafting
all Christians to fight.  (Atheists and pagans are exempt.)  That
should get all the current residents of the Middle East to unite.
And provide material for bards to sing about for the next thousand
years.
