Our web site has not been reachable by name since late Tuesday night.
The site is still up, but the name WSFA.ORG is no longer attached to
it or to anything else. Yesterday and today I've spent hours on the
phone trying to resolve this.

We were hosted by MAI.NET. It was eaten by ComStor, which was eaten
by HARVARD.NET. That's where things stood last time we had this
problem. Since then, HARVARD.NET has been swallowed by HOSTING.COM.

Our DNS entry still points to MAI.NET, as it has all along. MAI.NET
apparently no longer exists in any form. However, HOSTING.COM needs
authorization to alter our Network Solutions record to make them
our DNS server. John should have a Network Solutions username and
password. (This is not the same as our website username and password,
which John, Sam and I have.) If so, he can do this. Otherwise, we
will probably need to have our president and John fax HOSTING.COM
an authorization on official WSFA letterhead. (Do we have official
letterhead?) We have to do this unless they are able to reach
whatever remains of MAI.NET and get permission from them, but this
is doubtful.

In any case, it looks like WSFA.ORG will be down for a few more days.

Our website is completely mirrored at http://keithlynch.net/wsfa/,
but that doesn't help non-WSFA-members find us.

I will hold off on announcing Capclave on the newsgroups until this
situation is resolved.
