Subject: [WSFA] Seven years of WSFA Journals online

I just put the two July 1995 WSFA Journals online, and added all the
articles in them to the several indexes (indices?). This means we now
have seven full years of WSFA Journals online. 91 issues, containing
762 articles (including 231 reviews) written by 91 people, and the
minutes of the last 162 meetings.

(Yes, the number of authors equals the number of issues. Just a
coincidence.)

I expect to be able to do one month per week for the remainder of the
1995 issues, of which there are two per month. So I should finish '95
by the end of July or not long after.

Since I have text files of many the '94 and '93 issues, and since
there was only one issue per month during those years, I expect to
be able to be able to average close to two months per week. So I'm
aiming to have all of '94 online by the end of September, and all of
'93 by the end of November. Even if I pause for a month, I should
have a full decade online by the end of this year.

If I were to maintain that pace (two months per week) indefinitely
(not that I'm making any promises), I would have everything since 1987
online by Torcon III, 1979 by Noreason IV, 1971 by the second Scottish
Worldcon, 1963 by LACon IV or Midamericon II, and 1955 by whatever
Japan calls theirs. (When was the first issue? Was there a WSFA
Journal in 1955? Do we have copies of all the back issues?)

Wanted: Someone willing to look at all 91 issues of the WSFA Journal
that we have online, in both Netscape and Internet Explorer, in both
frames and no-frames mode, and report anything that doesn't look
right. (I don't have a graphical browser.) I don't care about broken
links, misspellings, grammatical errors, or errors of fact, as I
can find those myself. I want to know about things like missing or
duplicate pictures, and text that runs off the page or is too large,
too small, a bizarre color, or otherwise hard to read. Thanks.
