This list is six months old today. 36 people have posted 3033
messages to the list, an average of 17 per day. There are currently
25 subscribers. Here are all the past and present subscribers and

address. The email address shown is the one they receive postings on.
All past and present WSFA members (including non-subscribers) can post
to the list from any email address. Email addresses in parentheses
are the address a non-subscriber last posted from, or a former
subscriber last subscribed from, and may no longer be valid addresses.

went bad, and started bouncing everything back to me. Please inform
me before your email address goes away. Thank you. Please make sure
your mailbox doesn't overflow. Please temporarily unsubscribe if
you're going to be offline for a long time. Thank you.
Also, to help keep mailboxes from overflowing, and to keep from
stuffing everyone's mailboxes with multiple copies of the same stuff
over and over again, please don't include more of the message you're
replying to than is necessary to establish context. Recent messages
have often contained ALL of the message they were replying to, which
in turn contained ALL of the message THAT message was replying to,
several levels deep! No matter how wonderful a message is, nobody
wants to get multiple copies of it. Thank you.

list, for several reasons, including the fact that they can convey

off. I suggest you turn it off for everyone, since more and more
people are deleting all such email unread.
Any past or present WSFA member can:
* Subscribe to this list.
* Post to this list, even if they're not subscribed. And can do so
from any email addresss.
* Read messages in the archives.
Please don't post anything that you don't want to be seen by all WSFA
members, now and in the future. But don't assume that what you post
here will be seen by all WSFA members, or by any one of them in
particular.
This is a very low budget operation. Obviously, a WSFA.ORG email
address would have been nicer, than a KEITHLYNCH.NET address, but
WSFA.ORG only serves static web pages.
KEITHLYNCH.NET is hosted by PLETHORA.NET in Minnesota. This domain
has the advantage that I "own" every possible email address on it, so
I can simply decide that "WSFAlist" will go to the list. But the list
itself is actually running on PANIX.NET in New York.
It will be up to our secretary which messages to print in the WSFA
Journal. If you don't want a particular message printed in the WSFA
Journal, please say so in the message. (We may want to change this
policy, so that our secretary can only reprint a message with explicit
permission from the sender. Does anyone care one way or the other?)
Subscribes, unsubscribes, and archive updates are handled manually.
Usually within a day. Except archive updates, which are usually once
or twice a week. I will be offline from August 24th through September
7th for the Worldcon. The list will continue to operate, but I will
be handling no subscribes or unsubscribes during that period, nor
will I be updating the archives. I expect there will be few postings
during the Worldcon.
Please tell me anything else which you think should have been in this
message, which I plan to post every month. Thanks.
