At last Friday's meeting, Elspeth announced that only 32 of our the
50 rooms in our room block had been reserved.  On Tuesday she posted
to the rec.arts.sf.fandom newsgroup that the cutoff date was Friday
October 4th.  On Wednesday Sam Lubell posted to the same newsagroup
that the room block is full, and it's no longer possible for people
to reserve rooms at the convention rate.

Since then at least one person has said he won't be coming to Capclave
due to the room block being full.  Sigh.  So if 49 people reserve
rooms, the hotel is unhappy, while if 51 try to reserve rooms, one
of them will be sent away unhappy?

Please tell me if and when more rooms are added to the block, so I can
mention it on the website and the newsgroup.  Thanks.
