The coelacanth was thought to be long extinct.  Then it was found in
the deep ocean.  The dinosaur was also thought to be long extinct.
Then it was found hiding behind Dilbert's couch.

When's the last time you checked behind your couch?

It's really damp under my kitchen sink, and it's been ages since I
looked under there.  I think I'll check for trilobites and conodonts.
