Chuck's last name is "Divine" not "Devine". Remember the old rule
"I and not E between D and V". Or something like that.

In placing old WSFA Journals online I've been correcting the spelling,
except where misspelling appears to be deliberate. Our Treasurer's
last name is a major typo target. It begins with Mac, not Mc.
Perrianne and Mr. Pomeranz are also often misspelled.

Erica, did you ever have a cat named Skapna? Or is that a typo for
Skepna? Thanks.

Sam, Lee, the 1993 issues have ISBN 0894-5411, while the newer ones
have ISSN 0894-5411. Are both correct? Thanks.

Except for the two missing issues (July 1993 and March 1994) I have
everything since February 1993 online.

It's lots of fun placing the back issues online, one at a time, in
reverse order. Almost like time travel. Christmas quickly gives way
to Thanksgiving then Halloween. After which there are reports of what
the Worldcon was like, often followed by requests for roommates. Then
Disclave past becomes Disclave present, and there are urgent requests
for volunteers, after which Spring changes to Winter, and New Year's
day gives way to Christmas again. As the cycle repeats, various
people are identified as attending their third meeting, then their
second and first, after which they are never heard from again.

I'll leave you with an excerpt from the May 1993 issue:

  President, WSFA, 1992-94...
          ... Steve Smith
  Vice President, WSFA, 1992
          ... Terilee Edwards-Hewitt
  Secretary, WSFA, 1990-Too Long
          ... Lee Strong
  Treasurer, WSFA, 1990-2001 ...
          ... Robert MacIntosh
  President, USA, 1989-93 ...
          ... George H.W. Bush
  President, USA, 1993 ...
          ... William Jefferson Clinton
  President, USA, 1993 ...
          ... Albert Gore, Jr.
  President, USA, 1993-97 ...
          ... Hillary Rodham
  President, USA, 1997-2100 ...
          ... Nehemiah Scudder

Note the underestimate of how long Mr. MacIntosh would remain our
treasurer. (Also, he started in '87, not '90.)

Our Capclave '04 GOH is mentioned in that same issue. Misspelled, of
course (which I corrected).

Happy Thanksgiving. And happy Halloween next month. After which I
hope you enjoy Capclave '02 then ConJose...
