I recently learned that the *other* Borders Bookstore on Route 7, the
one at Tysons, is moving a mile southeast on 7, to a new much larger
three story building near the corner of Old Gallows Road, near the
movie theater. They will move this Spring. The new building, which
is still under construction, is connected by skybridge to a new six
story building, also still under construction.

They had been in the old location for twelve years. If they continue
to move one mile southeast along that highway each twelve years (about
one foot per day), they should merge with the Bailey's Crossroads
store in about 70 years.

The Tysons store doesn't have quite as many big name authors. One
they do have, this Sunday, is Ken Star. Yes, the guy who prosecuted
Clinton. No, I didn't know he had written a book either. I guess
anyone can write a book these days. At least anyone famous.
