I'm sorry, but I never saw or rejected any such invitation. Neither I
nor the list received any message containing "PartyLite" or "Candle,"
at least not in November or December.

(Except for a November 20th message from Rebecca, mentioning "outdoor
electric candles".)

The list is automated. I do not examine messages and decide which
ones to post. If they're from a WSFA member, they go directly to the
list. Only if they're not from a name or address I have listed as
that of a WSFA member will they go to me for my approval. No messages
containing "PartyLite" or "Candle" went to me for approval.

I suppose it's remotely possible that you fell afoul of one of my
automated spam filters, but this is unlikely. Mindspring is not in
the RBL (list of spam sites), nor is it in Argentina, China, Korea,
Nigeria, or Taiwan. I know you wouldn't send HTML or anything with
attachments. And all other filtering rules, I check the past five
years of my saved email (I save everything) to make sure there would
not have been a single false positive in those five years before I
add the rule.

Possibly the message simply got lost in transit. It happens sometimes.

Please talk to me if you think I've done something unreasonable.
Please don't just assume the worst and let your anger fester.
Thank you.
