I'll leave out that parenthetic section from now on, since apparently nobody particularly cares one way or the other whether messages posted here can be reprinted in the Journal without explicit permission. The one person who might have cared no longer posts to this list, and in any case seems unlikely to be mollified by any set of explicit rules, no matter how restrictive.
