On Friday, someone at WSFA was slightly skeptical about the patent for
Viagra gum.  It may be useful, but it's also obvious.  Patents are
supposed to only be for unobvious ideas.

It's real.  Go to http://patft.uspto.gov/netahtml/srchnum.htm
and enter patent number 6,531,114.

Poking around on that website is a fun way to waste a Sunday
afternoon.

A really bizarre patent is 6,485,773.

Fortunately, I have no need for either invention.
