It may be useful, but it's also obvious. Patents are supposed to only be for unobvious ideas. It's real. Go to http://patft.uspto.gov/netahtml/srchnum.htm and enter patent number 6,531,114. Poking around on that website is a fun way to waste a Sunday afternoon. A really bizarre patent is 6,485,773. Fortunately, I have no need for either invention. -- Keith F.
