The subject line makes it sound like livejournal is something shameful
and secret.

I've seen nothing shameful or secret in any WSFAn's livejournal. Not
to mention, they've all deliberately been placed, by their authors, on
the World Wide Web, where anyone on the planet can read them.

Busy? It had a holiday in the middle of it.

They were at the time. One has since unsubscribed.

In my experience, it's very rare to get a reply to an email after more
than a week. How long should I have waited? Do you really think I
would have gotten several urgent replies telling me not to do it after
eight days? Nine?

I got one reply -- in less than ten minutes. Then nothing for over
a week. It was obvious to me that nobody objected. If I was wrong,
I'm sorry. But I don't think I was being unreasonable. I think
the people who are going on as if I were selling videos of them in
flagrante delicto with a goat are being unreasonable. Especially
since NOT ONE thought to object on Monday, on Tuesday, on Wednesday,
on Thursday, on Friday (when many of them were with me for hours at
the WSFA picnic), on Saturday, on Sunday, or on Monday.

As for anyone thinking that I was only going to mention the ones that
appeared in people's signatures, only one ever has, at least on this
list. So I don't see how anyone could have thought that.

Since at least thirteen WSFAns found livejournal a worthwhile
activity, and were all linked directly or indirectly to each other's
livejournals, I thought other WSFAns might also be interested. I
thought I was doing something constructive and worthwhile for WSFA.
