I tend to notice patterns and coincidences.  For instance Dr. William
Borucki, the head of the Kepler Mission, gives a talk on that subject
at the Air and Space Museum on June 7th.  The Kepler Mission is to
find extrasolar planets by observing transits of those planets.  The
very next day, June 8th, there's a transit of Venus, for the first
time in 122 years.  Coincidence?  Or did he set it up that way?  I
plan to be there, and to ask him.

WSFA's two regular hostesses, Lee and Erica, have adjacent Noreascon
membership numbers.

And here's an ominous pattern in the WSFA Journals I have online:

* An obituary of Robert Pavlat by Bill Berg
* An obituary of Bill Berg by Chick Derry
* An obituary of Chick Derry by Joe Mayhew
* An obituary of Joe Mayhew by ...

If you're the author of the latter, I hope your affairs are in order.
And I hope you'll forgive me in advance if I don't write *your* obituary!
