The Nebulas were awarded this weekend. Details at
http://www.sfwa.org/awards/2004/nebwinners2003.html

Gravity Probe B was to have been launched at 12:57 pm EDT or at 1:01
pm EDT today (depending on which website I believe). This is NASA's
most delayed probe *ever*. I've been awaiting this launch for *over
half my life*. I'm still trying to find word on whether it was
launched, and if so, whether the launch was successful.

What's this? CNN.COM has breaking news? Must be something about the
launch. Unless there's been another major terrorist attack or Bush
has resigned, or something else extremely important. Lets see:

Federal appeals court rules former Ohio State running back Maurice
Clarett ineligible for NFL draft. Details soon.

So who is Maurice Clarett, and why is this important? Has anyone here
ever heard of him? Does anyone here care whether he's eligible for
the NFL draft, whatever that is?
